Born at number 1 the Entry Beam Street Nantwich on 31st December 1939. Attended Manor Road School till the age of 15 Apprentice and vehicle mechanic at Tattlers Garage Nantwich (Now Lathams)from 1954 till 1971. Worked at Rolls Royce Motors for 21 years ending in 1992 Married to Sylvia Powell on 9th June 1962 Father of William, David and Susan. Grandfather to Christopher, Siobhan, Andrew, Kelly, Ryan and Zoe.
